I attended queens hospital urgent care treatment yesterday and I would like to say that the service and care that I was given by a doctor called Ali was excellent and he was very caring and I felt very comfortable with him . I am writing this as so many people are quick to complain about the nhs but not many people praise the staff enough for their hard work . Kind regards Mrs Irene tucker

The operation was excellent with very good results with no scaring. The aftercare leaves a lot to be desired. I did not receive an appointment to have the stiches removed and in the end I gave up after numerous attempts to make a hospital appointment. I was concerned about leaving the stitches in for more than 2 weeks as the skin was growing over them. I arranged to see our practice nurse who without the correct equipment removed them and it was very painful. She did state if they were left any longer it would have been an issue to have them removed. After numerous cancelled appointments |I finally got the all clear and was signed off.

From our comments above it says it all. Forgetting to make appointments was an issue. Keeping to appointments was also an issue.

I was treated politely and professionally by all the staff who dealt with me.

So far at the diagnosis and booking of the procedure stage everything is completely satisfactory.

First class and efficient Bit of a wait at first but as usual very streamlined once in the clinic

The initial waiting room was very full with elderly people having to be away from their carers and having to have people give up their seats. Some people had to sit on the floor. So the main waiting room needs to be larger.
